Sedgley Reservoir

The project involves proactive maintenance of the reservoir structure. This requires a large area of the site to be excavated to expose the roof of the reservoir, the works will then be undertaken and the site reinstated. At South Staffs Water, we are committed to supply high quality and reliable water to our customers. This maintenance will ensure long term reliability of the reservoir.

Hi

We are making good progress despite the hot weather. We have had to start work at 5am laying the new waterproof membrane before the weather gets too hot.

We have 90% of the roof membrane complete and approximately 40% of the soil back on to the roof.

We are desperately working on the public footpath area of the roof so we can get this open as soon as possible.

It has been good that a few people have given me a call to discuss the work we are doing and our progress. If anybody has any questions then please feel free to comment on here or give me a call on my mobile.
